About Me

Hello, my name is Sara and I am a psychotherapeutic counsellor, passionate about helping women find their true selves through counselling.

I  have a BA [Hons] in Integrative-Relational Counselling and am a registered member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP)  abiding by their ethical framework.

I undertake regular supervision by an Accredited supervisor and am committed to undertaking continued professional development (CPD) and attend regular training courses.

I believe that the Earth has many tools for helping us heal,  therefore I offer Bach Flower Essence remedies and use Mindfulness techniques.

about counselling

You may be at a point in life where you are feeling  overwhelmed, at crisis point or struggling with difficult emotions or experiences. Some things in life are too difficult to tackle alone.

You may want to look at  past or present difficulties and struggles and their impact on your life and relationships today. It is an opportunity to find your inner peace and  discover your inner power  so you can  live the life you wish to live.

I offer you the opportunity to talk about what   is troubling you and  provide a warm,   safe, non-judgemental and confidential space for you. It is a journey we can make together...I will walk beside you as you journey your path which I believe is where healing and change takes place.  Due to  the impact of COVID 19, I am  offering sessions  via Skype, Zoom or Telephone.

Some of the difficulties I  offer help with are...

  • A desire to find yourself/become who you truly are
  • Anxiety
  • Childhood Sexual Abuse
  • Depression
  • Difficulties resulting from childhood experiences
  • Disconnectedness or lack of feeling
  • Emotional self-neglect
  • Fear
  • Lack of purpose or direction in life
  • Loneliness & Isolation
  • Loss and bereavement
  • Nightmares
  • Panic attacks
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Self-harm
  • Self esteem or confidence issues
  • Stress at home/work
